To the ministers of light

What does scripture say about life, the world, Jerusalem, and the Mashiach? There is a place in Jerusalem where a stream of wisdom will flow out to the surrounding cities and states and to the nations. That stream of wisdom will elucidate every facet of life. It will be a light so brilliant that it will not be possible to hide it. It will be anchored in truth. That truth will permeate all things and be undeniable. Life will abound because of it. How will life abound?
In the past, the world built by man was given to fatigue and exhaustion and whipped by greed and avarice. There was no rest. In the time to come, life of all forms will be afforded the honor of resting when required or needed. Because of this, it will thrive and not be given to calamity and collapse as the world we see. Mashiach will give us rest.
In our world, almost every act of progress requires death of some kind. As death becomes more and more efficient, eventually every step will require the death of some poor creature. In the time to come, life will not abound that way. Wisdom, freely granted, will come at the expense of foolishness, not life. Provision, freely granted, will come at the expense of privation, not the living. Ahavah will come at the expense of hoarding. Living and working will come at the expense of idleness, not freedom. Joy will come at the expense of perdition, not the elements of life. Life will abound magnificently at the expense of even the notion of death itself. Mashiach will give us life, more abundant than we can imagine. The governments of the world will rest upon his precepts. The nations of men will rely on his wisdom. The souls of men will rejoice in his laws. His edicts will anchor truth from the depths of the soil and the sea to the stars above. Mashiach will reign HaOlam, and we will benefit from his glory. As ministers of the light, we are entrusted with that truth and message to humanity. Shalom in Mashiach is much more than we can establish on our own. We can make efforts to give a taste and establish some of it here as we await his arrival. Let us honor him in our thoughts, hearts, and actions.
Baruch HaShem,
May you have and grant Shalom!
